Everything people ask before they book
These are the questions we field most often on the phone, grouped so you can jump to the part that matters for your job. If your question is not answered here, call — a two-minute conversation about your specific driveway, load or town beats any FAQ page.
Part 1
Pricing and booking
How much does a dumpster rental cost in Tyler?
Most residential rentals in the Tyler area run roughly $350 to $900 depending on size, rental length and what is going in. Concrete and other heavy material are priced by weight rather than a flat volume rate. You will get an exact number on the phone before anything is booked.
Is there a form to fill out online?
No, by design. We are a call-only operation — call the number on this site and you will get a price and a delivery window in one conversation instead of waiting on a callback.
What is included in the price?
Delivery, an agreed rental period, pickup, fuel and disposal, plus a stated tonnage allowance. Weight above that allowance is charged per ton at the rate quoted to you.
Part 2
Sizing and what fits
What size dumpster do I need?
It depends more on weight than most people expect. Bulky, light material like furniture runs out of space first; dense material like concrete and tile runs out of weight allowance first. Describe the job on the phone and we will size it correctly.
Can I put anything in the dumpster?
General household and construction debris, yes. Hazardous waste, paint, solvents, fuel, propane, asbestos, refrigerant appliances, tires, batteries and ammunition are excluded — see our full guide on what can and cannot go in a dumpster in Texas.
Part 3
Permits and placement
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Tyler?
Only if it sits in a public street or right-of-way. The City of Tyler requires a right-of-way use permit under Article VI of its Code of Ordinances (§ 15-265) for that situation. A container on your own driveway does not need one.
Will a dumpster damage my driveway?
Not if it is set correctly. We lay protective boards under the rails before the container touches the ground, which spreads the weight and protects concrete and asphalt.
How much space does a dumpster need?
Roughly 22 to 36 feet of clear, level run depending on the size, plus width and overhead clearance for the hoist. Our sizes page breaks down the exact clearance for each size.
Part 4
Delivery and service area
How fast can you deliver?
Often same-day in Tyler and the closer Smith County communities if you call before midday. The farther unincorporated communities usually run next-day.
Do you serve areas outside of Tyler?
Yes, all fifteen communities described on our service area page, covering all of Smith County from our FM 2767 yard.
